A calendar app with an AI assistant: the user says "plan my week" or "move gym to Tuesday", the assistant drafts the change on a preview layer, and nothing is saved until they accept. I work on the tool layer between Anthropic Claude and the calendar.

What I built

• Built and maintained the function-calling tools for a two-model assistant (a Sonnet planner and a Haiku manager, ~90 tools), with a lightweight router and on-demand skill rulebooks so each request carries only the rules it needs.
• Extended the deterministic solve-and-verify guardrail: code places tasks to the minute inside real free time, a verifier checks overlaps, hours, deadlines and untouched rows, and only failing rows go back to the model for a bounded retry.
• Shipped the AI memory pipeline that turns stated and learned preferences into enforceable scheduling rules.
• Developed AI goal planning: intake questions, goal-to-task breakdowns with deadlines placed around existing commitments, importance ranking and auto-attached learning resources.
• Integrated ElevenLabs streaming speech-to-text behind short-lived server-minted tokens; implemented LLM provider switching, token-based AI credit metering with Stripe top-ups, and MCP request quotas.
• Set up LangSmith tracing, a golden-case replay suite and prompt-token monitoring; built two-way calendar sync across Google, Apple and Outlook on one unified event model.

Hosts create events; guests RSVP, buy tickets, chat and connect. I built web and mobile features during the platform's migration from React and Firebase to Angular, Ionic, Capacitor, Node.js and MySQL.

What I built

• Designed REST APIs and services in Node.js and MySQL, with BullMQ queues for reminders, repeating events and RSVP follow-ups so slow work never runs inside a user's request.
• Delivered Android, iOS and web from one codebase with Capacitor, plus native home-screen widgets for hosts and guests and native plugins for check-in scanning, push, sign-in and Apple Pay.
• Built an agentic AI search assistant that turns "marketing people in Atlanta who like hiking" into a validated, read-only SQL query, and AI attendee matching that proposes introductions for a host to approve.
• Built real-time chat on Socket.IO (event group chats, direct messages, reactions and host broadcasts) and the social feed with posts, comments, likes, shares and reporting, backed by push, email and SMS notifications with per-user preferences.
• Integrated Stripe Connect payments, subscriptions and webhooks (holds, refunds, host payouts), and OAuth for Google, Microsoft and Zoom to create meetings and sync calendars.
• Developed the Angular and PrimeNG admin dashboard and set up GitHub Actions CI/CD for development and production, including mobile live updates.

A multi-tenant POS platform for restaurants: orders, menus, tables, staff, card and cash payments, settlement and reports. I worked on the Spring Boot backend used by the POS app and the merchant panel.

What I built

• Developed and maintained REST APIs with Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Data JPA for core POS operations, contributing to order, table and payment logic with request validation and a global exception handler that returns one consistent error shape.
• Designed MySQL data models with JPA and Hibernate, including entity relationships and queries.
• Contributed to the Dejavoo and Valor payment-terminal integrations (sale, tip adjust, void, refund) and receipt printing for orders and payments.

Health coaching for truck drivers and shift workers: a coach web app and a member mobile app for workouts, habits and medication check-ins, with real-time coach-to-member chat. I built the front end of both apps on a Firebase backend.

What I built

• Built the Angular coach app (members, exercise library, workout builder with reorderable steps) and the Ionic Angular member app for Android and iOS.
• Implemented the member's daily checklist, timed workout execution with video, rest timers and session tracking, and habit pages with compliance and streak counters.
• Integrated Stream Chat for one-to-one and channel messaging on web and mobile, and Firebase Auth with Cloud Functions for all data access.
• Added gamification: levels and XP, progress rings, milestone badges with share cards, to keep members coming back daily.
